Welcome to Opinify. By accessing or using our mobile application and services ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Eligibility

3. Account Registration and Security

• Do not share your OTP codes with anyone

• Sexually explicit or violent content

• Manipulate polls or voting results
• Create fake accounts or impersonate others
• Spam, flood, or abuse the platform

• Scrape or collect user data without permission
• Circumvent security measures or access restrictions

5. User Content

5.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you create (polls, votes, comments, discussions). By posting content, you grant Opinify a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote your content within the Service, modify or adapt content for technical requirements, and use content for analytics and service improvement.

5.2 Content Responsibility

• You are solely responsible for your content
• You represent that you have all necessary rights to post content
• You agree not to post content that violates any law or third-party rights
• We may remove content that violates these Terms without notice

5.3 Content Moderation

We reserve the right to:

• Review, monitor, and moderate user content
• Remove content that violates these Terms
• Suspend or terminate accounts for violations
• Report illegal content to authorities

6. Civic Engagement and Political Content

Opinify is a platform for civic engagement and political discourse. We encourage healthy debate while maintaining respect:

• Political opinions and discussions are welcome
• Debate ideas, not individuals
• Fact-check claims before sharing
• Respect diverse viewpoints
• Hate speech and personal attacks are prohibited

7. Intellectual Property

8. Privacy and Data

9. Termination

9.1 Termination by You

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon deletion:

• Your account will be immediately deactivated
• Your personal data will be deleted within 30 days
• Some content may remain anonymized for data integrity

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Engage in illegal activities
• Abuse or harm other users

We do not endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy of user-generated content. You use content at your own risk.

10.3 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OPINIFY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
• Service interruptions or errors
• User content or conduct
• Third-party services or links

Our total liability shall not exceed ₹1,000 or the amount you paid us (if any) in the past 12 months.
